Could any one help with a bit of info on the following programmes and if any are of any particular value :-
70-71 Burnley v Arsenal (12/09/70)- Arsenal double winning season - In poor condition with torn cover and biro writing on three pages - Have requested a quote for restoration.
74-75 Burnley v Liverpool (08/03/75) Good condition
81-82 Burnley v Chesterfield (28/12/81) Postponed - Good condition
82-83 Burnley v QPR (12/02/83) Postponed - Poor condition
82-83 Burnley v Grimsby (07/05/83) - Burnley relegated
83-84 Burnley v Sheffield Utd (17/09/83) - Played 08/11/83 - Seems a bit odd that this game would be postponed with a September date. Was it re-arranged for some reason ? - Good condition
83-84 Hyde Utd v Burnley (FAC) (19/11/83) - Game played at Turf Moor - Sl creased but otherwise OK.
Thanks in advance

83-4 Burnley v Sheffield United

The september fixture was called off due to 'illness' affecting the Burnley team. United were unhappy about the decision which they were informed off, on Friday afternoon via the Football League.

United did not dispute the fact that Burnley may have had a problem.
But United had played at Burnley on the Thursday night in a reserve fixture, and were given no indication or warning that there might be a problem concerning the 1st team fixture on the saturday. United were also upset that Burnley had not been in direct touch at any time, to explain the situation.

Hope that helps a little.

It's a 50p programme

Apart from the 70/71 Arsenal programme, all of the others can be picked up very cheaply.

Thanks for the info.
Thought the Sheffield Utd game must be an odd one.
Cheers
