scenario..............

offers requested

bid made

counter offer received and accepted

addresses exchanged

later told sorry had a higher bid

question posed - are you going back on your word?

Answer yes and by the way derisory offer for something else i tried to sell you (which by the way i didnt ask for)

should someone of this nature be allowed on here?????

To say i'm a little p***ed off would be an understatement. and for the sake of transparancy my response was............"your either a little boy or plain stupid.........."

thoughts.................................

I had that happened to me before, given price agreed price then told no im not selling it now, and that was by a dealer...personally i think the dealer got wind of how rare the item was hence pulling out.

Some dealers make enough money from deals they should accept to win and lose some deals some of the time !

This does sound out of order in my opinion, the fact that the 'seller' has given a counter offer suggests he/she was happy at the time of this agreement, I am guessing that another person enquired and was asked to make an offer - the offer being higher than your agreed price by the sounds of it.

Ideally once a sale has been agreed surely the 'seller' should state that the particular programme is unavailable to any further enquires.

Obviously there are 2 sides to every story but from what you say you are right to be p$$s#d off....

Refehod

item wasnt particularly rare. so no great variation in price. I'd be happy to share mails for the avoidance re sequence of events.

Having looked at a recent post by the same guy pehaps i shouldnt be too surprised - asked for a valuation then shouted about selling to a 'customer' for a mark up of over 150% of the top end............

I've had a guy on the forum ask me to dig out some programmes from a favourite player's first season at Forest. Took me ages, but got htem out, parcelled them up, got p+p costs from post office, and agreed a total price. Then, inspite of me sending him several emails, he just started ignoring me. What p*sses me off about that is that it seems like he changed his mind, but it seems quite childish behaviour to not just even message me to tell me that. Mad

Sorry but all posts after this one were deleted.

Refehod, this is a public forum and ofcourse you have a chance to reply and put your case across but dont reduce the thread to name calling.

All other posts after Refehods original post were just deleted as it was easier for me than keeping some and deleting/modifying others - also deleted were a number of posts from members making the same point above so thank you all for this.
