We have arranged 14 which is far to many in my opinion,we have a small squad at the moment so the thought of watching endless trialists is not very appealing.

We have got nine at the moment. Mixture of 1st and 2nd teams.
About right I think.

I think the Albion hae a bout nine or ten, a couple of them are going to be mainly youth players.

I still remember a Gills pre-season friendly against Forest back in the mid/late ninties, Forest players were announced and all roundly booed by the Rainham End, then when the Gills line up was announced it went something like: (In speech marks is the cheer from the Rainham End)

Number one big Jim Stannard "Yeahhhhhh"
number two Neil Lynne "who"
number three Neil Smith "Yeahhhhh"
number four -some new player- "who"
number five -some new player- "who"
number six -Andy Hessenthaler- "yeaahhhhhhh"
number seven -some new player- "who"

and so on including the substitutes, a warm welcome there by the gills fans for their new signings
