Hi all,
Could anyone advise if there have been any other years apart from 2000 and 2011 where a hardback programme has been produced
Cheers

Hi Matt. I'm not entirely sure what year these started to be produced, but I was alway under the impression they were available every final limited to 5000 pieces per year. |

Hi there,
Coincidence! I came on here today to ask a similar question!
I collect the hardback issues of FA Cup Finals if I come across them and I was going to ask if anyone had a definitive answer for which years OFFICIAL hardback programmes exist.
A number of people sell 'homemade' hardback Cup Final programmes on eBay which ridiculously sometimes go for quite a lot of money.
I have official Wembley produced hardback programmes from the 1994, 1995 and 1996 Finals. One from the 2000 Final and a limited edition boxed edition from the 2007 Final. There has also been a hardback produced for this seasons (2011) final (limited to 2000 copies).
I have not seen any for other seasons, however if anyone can enlighten myself (and Matt) further it would be appreciated.
All the best.

HI,
How much do the hardbacks normally sell for?
If they are limited edition i expect they are quite expensive?
Cheers

They vary quite a bit really. The 1994 and 2000 ones you can normally pick up for anything between about £25 and £50. The 1995 is pretty hard to get hold of and the 1996 i've only come across once and I paid £110 for it. The 2007 boxed one is pretty crap to be honest but still quite hard to get hold of, and i notice the ones from the recent final are going for between £50 and £100 on eBay however i'm sure that will settle down (there were 2000 produced through the Bobby Moore Club at Wembley)
If any one can shed any light on other seasons issue if they exist i'd be greatful.
All the best
Justin

I don't collect FA Cup Finals in general but as the last FA Cup Final 2011 involved Manchester City then i had to have one of the Hardback editions and paid the sum of £35 for it.
is this a good price or could i have got one cheaper?? |

Hi there,
On eBay they still seem to be going for between £50 and £95 so I think £35 is a fair price although I suspect in a few months that's the kind of price they will settle at.
I'm not sure how much they were to buy within the Bobby Moore Club in the first place, or whether they were even free (as people have to pay thousands to join the club anyway) but I do know only 2000 were produced. |

I've got a funny feeling that the shop at Wembley stadium has a few for sale from one or two finals. I'm going to the game today - not sure if I'm going past the store (It's 'under' Bobby Moore) but if I do, I'll have a nosey |

Apologies - sent too long in The Green Man, and when I got to the shop there was a long queue so I didn't get to check. I do believe they have them from 1 or 2 finals though, so it might be worth a phone call to ask |

Hardback editions were produced for the 1995 and 2009 Cup Finals, blue covers on both of them. |

Hi Andy - I wasn't aware about the 2009 one? Are you able to provide a pic? I've seen the ones on eBay that have been bound after the event for various Cup Finals but I'd love to get hold of a 2009 one if it's official.
All the best

When I compare the 95 with the 09 edition, it looks like the 09 one is not an official commemorative edition but simply a bound normal programme. The 95 edition has a stamp inside the cover which my 09 edition doesn't have.
I can send you a scan if you send me your email. |
