How far is it from Valencia to Villarreal?

Hi All,
Going to Valencia in September (the Mrs. is paying, as we both need time away!), and was hoping to take in a game. Unfortunately Valencia and Levante are both away, but Villarreal are at home. Just wondered if anybody knew:
a. How far is it to Villarreal from Valencia?
b. How much are tickets for games in Spain?
c. Do they issue programmes, if so, how much?


Also, if anybody knows of any programme shops, markets etc. (Auchinleckian, you know I'm talking to you!!), please PM me the details.

so here we go: Google maps

Valencia - North up the coast around 60km.. so roughly 40 miles..

Progs - not sure but they didn't issue a club programme for the game against Everton

Prices - AFAIK fairly cheap for football in Europe, but Villarreal is a small ground (22,000?) so might be harder to obtain.. Try their official website and check their English page.

I know where to go in Barcelona for programmes etc - I've found about 5 or 6 shops so far that usually keep a smallish stock of 40's and 50's Braca programmes. Can't vouch for anything else in Spain though. Don't Villareal fans carry a yellow submarine to home games?
You'll find that the vast majority of Spanish clubs didn't issue programmes up until fairly recently. Thta's why most Spanish fans tend to collect tickets / season tickets, etc. What I would do is google antique shops / second hand book shops / flea markets and car boot sales etc in the area you're going to well
before hand. With the book shops and antique shops, if you get email details, drop the a line advising them that you'll be there between whatever dates, and that you're looking for football items. Whilst they might not have the in the shop due to their non collectability out there, they might have some stashed away, or know of someone else who does.
