I know they're not programmes, but just wanted help on a price for these things. They're from the late 70's/early 80's, and I have them in the 'other memorabillia' section, but don't know what they're worth, any ideas?

The only ones I've ever found to make decent money are the 1st 3 issues......the rest are a fiver absolute tops. The postage normally kills the price.

The big sellers always used to be 1,3,4, and 8 for whatever reason. Andy's right, it'll cost you as much to post them as it would to actually buy them on an individual basis. Hardbacks always go for more than softbacks, as long as they have a good dustjacket. Best bet is to hang onto them, and become a statistical geek like me!

I'm not really looking to make a fortune on them, just want to make a bit back on a lot I bought at auction. Mattblue may be interested in them, so if I can sort out getting them to him, as long as I don't lose out, I'm not bothered.

As Auckinlechian says you can hang onto them and become a geek like us two.... I've every issue of the Non League Directory from its inception in 1977 to present, but be warned, you'll need a big bookshelf!

Dick Rattray (dealer) has a full set in his latest catalogue.
Issue 1 is £80, 2&3 are £30, 4 is £25 and 5 is £20. The next 25 are £10 and the rest are priced at £12. I think postage may be on top.

It's not OTT for the early ones. Most from the late 70's onwards are common as muck, but the early numbers are still very collectable, especially the first issue. He's got that priced just about right. Check out ABE Books for what dealers are looking for football books - especially the harder to get Breedon Complete Records.

agree re the early ones - the price is spot on....however £12 + prob around £-£4 to a late 90's one is a little OTT...

As I said to you Matt, I would only want a couple of quid each for them, but I was hoping St. Odin would be goin to the Stoke programme fair, so I could scrounge a lift, but he's not goin. As I don't drive, I don't think I'm gonna be able to go, so we're back to the drawing board!!If you're happy to wait that long, we might just have to wait and see how the fixtures come out next season?

I've got the full set over the years from a bookshop in Todmorden, Border Bookshop Halifax Road the owners name is Victor, he is a keen follower of Accrington Stanley and Cricket club as well.
