I hade been following an item on ebay Villa v Birmingham F.L.C.F 2nd leg 63 for a while and was desperate to add this to my collection ,
when checking it out this morning it just says; " This item has been removed ,or this item is not available".
Can enyone explaine why this as occured.
Can get no sence from ebay.

They've either sold it privately via ebay or other means.

Or they hadnt put a reserve and they were worried it wasn't going to realise a good price. How much are you looking at outlaying for the programme, as there may be people on here who own a copy.

I think you're nearer the truth Holtie, this has happened to me loads of times, and it really p*sses me off! If you want something to sell for £50 either put a reserve on it, or list it at £49.99. Don't list it at 99p, then when it looks like its only going to sell for a fraction of that then pull. Ebay should intervene and stop this happening, but they wont!

I agree, I have list out massively on some programmes but honored the transaction and other times made a big gain, such are the nature of auctions. You are spot on!

A regular poster on here is often guilty of taking things off ebay if he doesnt think they will fetch what he wants, i once "asked the question" why have you taken off ebay, the answer was you were the only bidder and there were no watchers, i wanted more for the item, at least his reply was honest..

same happened to me today . bury testimonial prog. i had actually bidded on it and got the same message from ebay. winds me up when that happens
