I arrive in Dublin that morning for the ROI v Scotland match, is it generally the same dealers in attendance at both?

It will kill an hour or so before the pubs open Thumbs Up

There would be Northern dealers who don't attend Dublin and some Southern dealers (mainly club specific) who don't attend Belfast

The English/Scottish dealers usually make a weekend out of it

I thought that game kicked off on 27th May not 29th?

Those are almost certainly the fair dates but haven't seen them confirmed.

Scotland game moved to sunday 29th - new dates RoI v NI 24/5, Sco v Wales 25/5. Wales v NI 27/5 & RoI v Sco 29/5.

Full league of Ireland programme on 26/5 too so 5 matches in 6 days and 2 fairs unless I come out in the champions league final ballot.

The Belfast one was confirmed on the Programme/memorobila section of the Irish League Supporters Forum by the poster Blue heaven (who seems involved)

He is involved. I was a small bit concerned re the champions league final as it got moved a couple of years ago because a couple of the dealers were off to watch England. I hadn't seen anything official yet. However if Blueheaven says it is then that's the date.

What kind of English club stuff - if any - do you think might be available at Dublin?

Its mostly English club stuff tbh. Its not my area of interest so I couldn't comment on the quality of stuff available. Dealers such as Michael Hewitt usually attend.

And again, I've no involvement with it, apart from turning up on the mornign and flicking through boxes... Wink

Main clubs supported in the Republic are Man Utd, Liverpool and Leeds.

Last year saw the ebst stuff for many years for sale at the Dublin fair probably due to the recession here. Prices were very high though.

I doubt if you'd get any good Everton league ones but probably some of their rarer Irish friendlies.

However might be worth a trip if you can get a cheap flight and take in the RoI v Scotland game that evening.

Last year at the Belfast one, I picked up a few gaps in my collection, but mostly the odd gap from the 80's/90's, and a few ROI/NI friendlies, but nothing rare. Was worth the trip for me anywyay, as I trravel to Belfast a few times a year, and as Gary says, got a very cheap flight with that well known Irish company! Thumbs Up
