man utd v benfica 1968 cup final Original programme !

Evening guys, just a quick query, I have a 1968 cup final programme which was given to me by a mates grandfather (mate not interested).

now hes ancient so could have had it for years


just wondering how can itell if it is the original official programme or if it is a reprint, if anyone could help or point me in the right direction id be grateful

There was a reprint produced in 1997, ''Reprint 1997'' is wrote on the inside of the rear cover, on the bottom right corner,

On this subject, is it right that the programme was reprinted in the weeks/months immediately after the final.

If so can you tell the difference.

I have a few of these programmes which all appear to be original, no mention of reprint. But a couple appear a little to clean and the Benfica team picture is not quite as crisp.

Anyone know.

thats exactly what i was thinking, mine says nothing of a reprint, but its immaculate. any other giveaways !?
