I asked the seller and he said:
"This official publication of a city in the Kiev area where there was a tournament, has 8 pages."

I'm not convinced

all i know is that when arsenal have played in the kiev area in the past there have been 30-40 different programmes available so i wouldn't trust anybody's word on what was the offical programme unless i knew they had been to the match and bought it directly from the club

Thing is, i've looked through the rest of his stuff and he has a lot of eastern European stuff which is all official stuff, not pirates. To say it's black and white there is a good amount of detail on the cover, so if it is a pirate, someone's put some effort in.

i have seen some very glossy looking pirate ones before from there so with todays technology anything is possible. You might try to email Martin Scott (ScottFootball.co.uk) who used to go to a lot of England away matches. He might have gone to the tournament or perhaps will know if there is an official programme.

You could PM garyspain on this board too as I think he collects all Ireland programmes regardless of level

2 friends were there supporting Ireland and brought back teamsheets saying that is all that was done. Although not collectors they are clued in.

However it is still possible this was official.

Ukraine and Belarus are notorious for doing reprints and pirates. Same seller producer programmes for games played in Spain involving Irish teams and dynamo kiev. I bought them in 2009 but they were clearly pirates but this year he is charging £25-£30 each for the 2010 versions so told him to stuff it.

I was certain I was buying pirates last year too but they were
a fiver each. I've stopped buying ebay pirates but do buy pirates on sale at games eg Miguel's Spanish pirates with the barcode.

They like to be economical with the truth too. An official publication of the city of kiev could be taken many different ways.

Caveat emptor.

I made a mistake in my last post - his pirates are £35 not £25-£30.

See here

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-progra.....grammes_ET

the above are definately pirates and one is a ripoff of a Rovers home programme and 100% not produced by Shamrock Rovers.

He does get lots of good stuff too and is reliable afaik in that you will
get your stuff if you pay for it.

"Boris Coach" has his head in the clouds when it comes to valuations. He has had a few Scotland away tickets on ebay for well over a year which have not shifted due to the price he is asking. I made him what I considered a decent offer for one which he refused. It's still there, and I expect it to still be there this time next year!

He wants £35 for a Georgia v Scotland programme, they're worth about a fiver!
