Not as good as Wigan. Wigan have better players than the Scottish national team although this is probably the worst Latics side since getting promoted.

I think Scotland are on paper a more talented side than Blackpool but the Tangerines have a better manager and may outperform them over a season.

I would have a fair guess they'd be relegated.

They are relying on Kenny Miller (who struggled to score at Derby), Kris Boyd (playing for Middlesbrough) and Naismith (not prolific in Scottish football) not to mention relying on a 40 year old at the back

They were very poor tonight but I was hoping they would score at the end just for that tackle on Hutton. How he got away without a broken leg is pure luck

still think they'd be lucky to be mid table in the Championship!

I believe that Scotland would be a top half Championship side. Mind you I reckon England would struggle to stay in the Prem.

Come on boys levin and Scotland are destined for greatness, as levin has mastered fergie's ability to conjure up 97th minute winners with only 5 minutes of added time!!!! Laughing

It's all conjecture, but I agree with Past Pirate, England would also struggle in the Premiership. FFS they played Heskey at the World Cup and O'Neill wouldn't play him in the Premiership. The defining difference is, of course, the fact that national managers don't have a 24/7 outlook on life and rarely get the opportunity to have constructive time with their players, so it would be inevitable that a well drilled side would always make a national team struggle in the U.K.

Most of the Scotland team are lower championship/league 1 standard. Or at least that's all I have seen from the ones boro have signed so far this season! Very Happy
