Hi guys,

going to see Vill at Home to West Ham this coming saturday and have a few questions about the ground etc:

What is the parking like around the ground, i see on the Villa website there is this parking exclusion zone, but any recommendations for parking would be great.

Do you know if there are any programme stalls selling older programmes around the ground at all??

Many Thanks

James

Take a look at http://www.totalfootballforums.com/forums/topic/2102-aston-villa/

When i visited i went by coach so it was easy and visited the pub rather than the programme shop but i think i remember being told at the time that there was one and it is mentioned on that link i just sent also.

i went about 4 or 5 years ago and at that time there were plenty of organised car parking areas signposted (eg school yards, church car parks) within 15-20 minute walk of the ground. From what I remember at that time I saw a guy in a van (like a burger van) selling the matchday programme but he also had a few older progs but mainly 70s/80s items.

There is a dealer called Holteend progs he might be able to tell you if there is a shop at the ground, he may even have a stall there himself, so he could be worth contacting
