Does anyone have any information regarding what will be sold for the Chesterfield v Derby 24/07/2010 first at new stadium?

I've email Chesterfield with no reponse (surprise surprise) though I will phone if I get a chance at work this week.

Programmes are available from the club shop for £2 each plus £1 postage. Dial 01246 246370 and choose option 4.

£2 sounds quite cheap, was half expecting a 200 page issue special edition and having to part with the best part of a tenner...

I order 3 programmes at £6 plus £5 postage!!!!!!!!!!!

Total rip off but less than what I will have to pay on eBay after the match.

Your talking out of your harris fella. Judge

Chris & Russ are a pair of good fella's. A previous poster as already suggested that he was charged the best part of £1.65p (by CFC) per programme for p&p.

If (as mentioned above) the programme has a cover price of £2.00 along with £1.65 p&p (charged by Chesterfield FC) = £3.65p

The programme is being offered via eBay at £4.99 with p&p charged at just £1.00p. Remember that eBay will take a cut of approx 50p (10% of selling price), charge approx 20p for listing, not forgetting our friends at paypal charging approx 40p. What with the cost of a cardbacked envelope, Chris & Russ will come out of the transaction with barely a measly quid.

It seems that people using eBay were quite happy by Chris / Russ' valuation as they have sold ALL 8 offered!

If, in your book thats ripping folk off, i fear that you'll feel ripped off on quite a few occassions at Pride Park this season!!! Shocked

The reason why I think £4.99 plus £1 postage is steep is because I called Chesterfield Club Shop on Thursday morning and bought two programmes for Chesterfield v Derby for £5 including postage. Not sure why they charged a much higher price for postage for others.

I got my 3 programmes from Chesterfield from their opening match at the new stadium...paid £5 postage...it cost them £1.57!

I'm writing to the club to get an explaination as that is a step to far. £3 fair enough due to the cost of the envelope and even for the effort of posting but not £5.

Like all my emails to the club I don't expect a response.
