Everton v Gornik - Teamsheet from Friendly 1991 (10,000 there but only Directors had a teamsheet) - the one all Blues want. I bought one for £50 (a price I am really pleased about) on June 6th and, wouldn't you know, the bloody Royal Mail lost it. (Yes, I can trust the seller absolutely and I had the tracking number). Well finally he unearthed another copy from a source and it arrived today - 52 days later. It seems to be original and in pristine condition so that's a double bonus.

One happy (finally) collector!

this may sound dumb

1: who are gornik
2: why is it important to have that

Polish team Gornik Zabrze.

And id imagine its important to have the item as its so rare because they were only produced for the directors so only a handful will be available now and having that elusive item in your collection, that others wish they could own, is what its all about, isnt it? Confused

Always nice to be judged by one's peers I must say Smile

Since I have every first class home game from year dot - it becomes a matter of finding those elusive ones. Isn't that what collecting is about? Setting your targets and meeting them? (ok, sorry for the Business Speak..)

It's the stealth and anorakishness that we all possess to differing degrees - or maybe it's purely an extension of being the hunter gatherer. Who really gives a ****? Well done Dan.
BTW, excuse me for my ignorance here, but aren't team sheets photo copied at the ground rather than being professionally printed, or is this a properly printed one. Would hate to think you may have spent decent cash on a photocopy. Only asking as I don't normally bother with team sheets for that reason, but Grimsby Barra Lad has been steadily getting me programmes, and team sheets where available, for all the Mighty Mariners pre season friendlies. Team sheet free, programme costs money, albeit I know the team sheets will in this instance certainly be collectable due to them being from Grimsby's first few games as a non league club.
Got team sheets at the Stirling Albion vs Grimsby friendly last week, and surprised to see programmes as well ( a double header for game vs Hamilton as well) Managed to get Steven Pressley to sign 3 of my team sheets for provenance sake as he was behind me at the reception desk. Steve used to be captain of Hearts and Scotland before taking over as manager of Falkirk for all you non followers of all things Scottish.
