Yep the Vuvuzelas in south africa are driving everyone mad.

Could they make it over to this country for next season ??

Could they be classed as a offensive weapon,

Fail the health & Safety test.

Would they pass the fit & proper test for the premier league.

Mmmmm Mmmmm

They are killing any atmosphere inside the grounds, you just dont hear the crowd noise. Although one benefit was that they drowned out that god awful England band.

Same thing happened outside the pub I was at on Saturday.
Just it was quicker. He got told to stick it up his A** after 3 blasts. Thank god we never heard form the thing after that.

I just don't get it. They just spend the whole match blowing into these stupid horns. A free kick - blown your horn. A booking - blow your horn. ITV spent hours banging on about the 'amazing' atmosphere - to me it just sounded like a bunch of idiots who haven't got a clue what's going on in the actual game. No singing, no chanting, just incessant horn blowing with no meaning for 90 minutes.

I think they are a vast improvement on "Engerland, Engerland, Engerland" and the like. I'm not in the ground so it doesn't bother me in the least - sorry to play Devil's Advocate but I like them!

It think it adds to the "continental atmosphere" of the match and it so much better than listening to the annoying "Engerland Band" or those Pompey Chimes.
Just as long as they don't make it over here next season !

Watching the Paraguay v Italy game don't know which is the worst listening to the drone of the vuvuzelas or the drone of Mick McCarthy.

Too late ! Available as a ring tone for your mobile.

A small piece of South Africa only a fingertip away.

The Guardian reports today of a vuvuzela orchestra that can be accessed on Youtube. Could be interesting..whilst also reporting that Sainsburys sold 22,000 of them in the 12 hours before Ingerland's first game. They'll be everywhere next season!

I think they're totally obnoxious. I can't imagine what it must be like sitting in front of 3 or 4 of them. I turned off the sound watching a game yesterday which was a vast improvement.

To be honest I cant see many grounds next year letting people take them in, not because of the damned awful noise but because knowing what the stewards at most grounds are like theyre likely to get confiscated.

At least I hope so cos I hate em !!

Then again there was one being used in a pub I was in after the England game but it was being blown by an absolutely stunning lass and she was forgiven for some reason .... dont think it would have been the same reaction if it had been a lad though !!

And Cardiff City Stadium (And Ninian Park before it) is a "Musical Instrument" free zone and has been for a couple of season.

I think i also read the Millennium Stadium and Swalec Stadium (Glamorgan Cricket) have also banned them.

They are just as bad as drums in my opinion, anyone who brings a Vuvuzeala or a drum or a trumpet to a football match should have it shoved up his arse.
