Hull City 1946

I have just got hold of a boxing day game Hull v Hartlepool 1946, and i can't believe it has 20 pages, packed full of information. What i can't understand is, how come a Div.3 North team can produce such a massive programme, when the rest of the country, including the the big 1st.Div teams, could only manage a folded teamsheet printed on toilet paper, just after the war ? I can't think of a single club in the country that produced such a substantial programme. Amazing, there must be a story behind it.
