Really depends on what condition the programmes were described as being???

Another factor must be age, e.g. is a rusty staple from pre-war Arsenal described as a fault -- not really.

If the description is misleading or false then I would contact the seller before leaving feedback and give him/her a chance to rectify the problem.

If nothing comes of your contact then I would leave negative feedback and complain.

Personally never brought from the seller so cannot copy on this individual case.

Tricky one, the description was for 14 used Man Utd programmes. It was rather vague in the extreme . Should the seller have been more descriptive? Was he telling the truth? The absence of a more detailed description should have made you perhaps err on the cautious side.

Fortunatly for me Red there are very few (i hope ) progs left to add to my collection ,but when the odd one dose appear on ebay i ALWAYS get in touch with the seller to enquire about condition ,wether it has any writing ie Team/Changes,Half/Time Scores etc ,all my progs have to be in MINT to near mint condition (fussy i know) but has the majority of my wants are in the mid to late 50s thay dont come cheap so will not pay for tat usualy another one will crop up if you bide your time.
Also dont be decieved by photo displayed , i have been duped by this in the past and also ask seller if photo displayed is the actual prog that is for sale.I have found out that it dose not hurt to ASK.

I get fed up having to contact sellers asking if there are team changes, scorers etc. I wish all sellers would just include it (I'm talking about older programmes here) but they don't. Shake

Good luck with the dispute, but I dont think it will get you very far . The description was very vague, but not really misleading. We have all made these mistakes in collecting (well I have anyway) and you just have to live and learn. No one on here got to be an 'expert' in their fields without a few blunders on the way, and you have to do the same here I'm afraid. Put it down to experience and look for the next deal matey.

Hi What were the main faults ? Creases ,Folds ,TC,Token removed, marks
,grubby? I think if any questions werent replied too ,I would not have bid.
In all honesty with a picture of items for sale,I dont think a dispute would be too successful. It appears so far this guy had 100% feedback so far.Did you check the comments left by other buyers?

I see one his other buyers has left neutral feedback with the following:
"seller is good but needs to write more about condition of programmes". So he has done this before. All good sellers detail perceived faults and should receive positive feedback accordingly. Judge
In this case you should certainly leave negative feedback, if he is selling programmes with taped spines and scores written on the front he should disclose this in the description. The only time I would say yo (maybe) shouldn't leave neg feedback is if you could clearly see those things in the photo. A dispute filed with ebay will go nowhere I'm afraid.

Tell him you don't want to leave negative feedback but you're disappointed with the condition. You'd appreciate a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. You understand that he wasn't trying to mislead, but maybe he should be more careful with descriptions.
