1969/70 FA Cup

A number of years ago I was nearing completion of my Reading Collection, so decided to delve into something a little different. So I thought the 1969/70 FA Cup might be an avenue worth veering down, and a journey form ‘Preliminary Rounds’ through to ‘Final Replay’ began.

It was the first final I remember as a boy (and I still feel aggrieved that my mum made a seven year old go to bed at half time in the replay).

From the First Round Proper onwards proved readily available (with a few exceptions) and is all but complete, however with the qualifying rounds I’ve hit a brick wall. Addlestone v Wokingham Town being a particular bug bear as it’s the first alphabetically and Wokingham is my home town club.

Does anyone have any of the 200 odd I still require or any tips on how to complete this set.

I can't help with your missing programmes, however for a while i've been working on the 1978-79 season as that was the first season i was into football properly after the 78 World Cup.

I've completed the League Cup, got one missing from the Anglo-Scottish Cup, and am working through the FA Cup, all 4 English Leagues, the Scottish Leagues and the European competitions (money permitting, so it's a long process but one i enjoy).

I did this as i've just got a few Swindon wants so gives me something else to collect.
