Transport FC info and queries

I haven't done enough research yet but have a fair bit of info here.

They joined the league in 1948/49 and appear to have issued regularly that season. Small 4-page issues with the bus timetable for Bray on the cover.

I'm not aware of any issues for the next 3 seasons - 49/50-51/52 apart from a cup tie v Cork Athletic.

Sporadic (possibly more regular) issues exist for 52/53 and 53/54.

They appear to have issues for 54/55. Last I've seen is Waterford but possibly issued after that v Evergreen and Shelbourne. Before you ask Sean I assume there is one for Dundalk in March but I don't recall for sure.

I've never seen an issue after 1955 up until they left the league in 1962, I'm pretty sure they didn't issue v Limerick in the cup either in the early 60's.

Two turn up regularly - Shamrock Rovers FAI Cup 53/54 and Limerick FAI Cup 54/55. Any others are difficult to find although interst and value depends on the away side.

I don't have them but programmes exist for Transport home games 52-3 Shield and 58-9 Sheild v Dundalk, good prices realised for each

I don't. It was on a footballprogrammes.com offers list a number of years ago
