Looking for date re Stanley Cup Sweden 1972 ie scores ,scorers results and attendances .
Besides Wolves other teams in it were :
IF Goteburg,
Orgryte IS,
Gais,
Everton,
Fredrikstad BK.

I've had a look on the British Newspaper Archive, what i can find is as follows -

Everton beat Orgryte 3-1 in one semi-final (Mon 24 July), attendance was 2735. Hurst got two of their goals, Royle the other.

Wolves drew 1-1 with Gais in the other semi-final and won a penalty shoot-out. (not sure of the date)

The final between Everton and Wolves was on Thursday 27 July 1972. Wolves won 2-1. Richards and Hibbitt for Wolves, Connolly for Everton.

Hi, i couldn't find that yesterday, but i've done another search today and i've found a full match report in the Liverpool Echo from 28 July 1972 which gives the line up's, attendance, referee etc.
