What kind of detail are you looking for mate? It's been at the St Andrew's Resource center on Pearse St in the city centre for the last few years. The day after the Belfast one, it's seems likely to be the 30th May this year. |

For anyone thats interested, here's some more info on the Belfast fair:
FOOTBALL PROGRAMME & MEMORABILIA FAIR
The 2010 fair will again be held at Belfast’s St George’s Market on Saturday 29th May from 10.00 am until 2.30 pm. Admission to the Fair will be free.
Enthusiasts in the ever expanding world of football programme and memorabilia collecting will be given another opportunity to attend a football fair in Northern Ireland.
Programme dealers from Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland will be in attendance. In addition to all the older programmes on sale collectors will be able to purchase programmes from the current 09/10 season.
Programmes from Northern Ireland internationals at all levels will also be on sale.
In addition to the programme dealers there will also be dealers specialising in books, badges, scarves and autographed items. Local clubs will also be represented. In summary there will be a wide range of football collectables for sale.
Following the success of the previous fairs it is hoped that the 2010 Fair will prove to be even more popular. The Fair as in previous years is being organised by the Northern Ireland Football Programme Collectors Club.
The Club will also present their annual 'Programme of the Year' award. This is made to the Club producing the best programme for the 2009/10 season.
John- if you want me to take your lists with me, I'm almost certain to be going, just need to book my flights. _________________ PLEASE check out my Prostate Cancer UK charity auction page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1550474568596587/ |

The Dublin Fair is in the St. Andrews Resource Centre in Pearse Street - 10am -2pm (approx).
This is city centre - nearest DART station is Westland Row/Pearse station.
Normal UK dealers are Mick Hewitt, Programme Promotions (David Allen) & Almondvale Programmes (Brian Johnson). There will be local stalls but mainly people like myself selling off surplus.
The only website on the island I'm aware of selling programmes is
http://www.footyprogs.fsnet.co.uk/
Laurence will have a stall in Belfast.
Typically mainly Northern Ireland stuff in Belfast and RoI stuff in Dublin.
John, You'd be lucky to pick up any of your wants except maybe Wexford v Cobh 2007. Most oif our clubs have small printruns and though well meaning are not very customer friendly. These programmes become rare because of low printruns and nobody to cover them for collectors.
In some places like Dundalk and Cork there are reliable contacts. I try and collect first full season for new clubs. It's a nightmare. For Sporting fingal (Dublin) a friend and I were outside every home game yet only attended a couple. I'm still missing 1 wexford, and plenty of aways. Wexford met Salthill last sunday and short of driving to the game I had no way of covering it. A friend has ordered 2 through last year's editor (fingers crossed) but otherwise I'll start phoning and hoping prior to my trip down there in July for our game.
I try and pick them up when I go to the Limerick away game and this normally works unless there was a sellout. I'll be in Salthill in a couple of weeks so can let you know then. I'll be in Wexford in July and they had loads of Cobh 2007 at 4 euro each and probably still do. TBH I probably bought a spare or 2 and have it somewhere unless it got sold out of a box at a fair. |

I've got a stall mainly selling badges and Northern Ireland memorabilia. There are plenty of programme dealers so Im sure you will pick up something. Mick Hewitt is usually over
Id recommend you and your Mrs do the open top bus tour after the Fair, good way of seeing the sights of Belfast (not least The Shankill and The Falls) |

Look forward to seeing you there Jim. Will be my first fair, so I'm going more for the experience, if I find anything I want it will be a bonus. Me and my Mrs come over regularly, came to see our first Linfield game last year, so am hoping to get over for a few more this coming season. Quite interested in coming over for 12th. July too, would like to experience that! _________________ PLEASE check out my Prostate Cancer UK charity auction page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1550474568596587/ |

Only game against RoI (home or away) prior to 1979 was in Dublin in 1960. Not very rare, I think Mick Hewitt had it on his lists recently for £5 - £10 |

Laurence Flanigan is probably your best bet for Northern Ireland v Wales and for Distillery homes.
http://www.footyprogs.fsnet.co.uk/
All the NI v Wales from the 40's & 50's are also on David Allen's lists.
www.footballprogrammes.com
you may not want to pay his prices and they may well be cheaper at the fair if available. However none are common so they won't be sold very cheap. |
