Sad news Mark Jones who most of you ran seaside programmes of Prestatyn has passed away on the 8th December . There is a fitting tribute to him on the Grassroots north wales website and twitter page . I have tried to post on old forum but could not , so if anyone can post this news on it it would be much appreciated . Our condolences go out to his family and he will be sorely missed . So sad to hear this. I was chattin to Mark only 3/4 weeks ago and we were laughing about our shared love of using a full roll of parcel tape on packages we send out.
Was a lovely man and will be sadly missed. Condolences to his wife and family. RIP Mark

Now I know why I did not get a reply to a recent message. This is very sad news indeed. Mark helped me a great deal in my quest for Welsh non-league pin badges. Very nice chap to deal with and will be missed greatly.
RIP Mark.

Although I never met Mark, I always saw his posts on the forum and he had a lot of knowledge and love about the history of Welsh clubs in Europe.

I will particularly remember him for the time when he came across a stock of pristine pvc 1960's football club pennants and duffel bags, in the loft of a seaside gift shop in Rhyl, of which he sold me one at a very fair price considering the rarity of the item.

Rest in Peace Mark

Very sad news especially at this time of year. There is nothing I can add to the above comments and the heart-felt tribute on the Grassroots North Wales site.

Condolences to the family. You will be missed.

RIP

Blimey, just seen this, such sad news.
In my experience, Mark was so trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with, nothing was any trouble. RIP

Only just found out, he was one of the first people I sold badges to and was always so helpful. In recent years I bought from him, always a gent.

RIP Mark, will be greatly missed.

News on the board this week is cruelly unreal.

Mark invited me up to his fair at Prestatyn back in Oct. 2016, met him on a couple of other occasions too.

Best wishes to friends & family.
