After the very sad passing of Eamonn at Programme Preservation, can anybody recommend anyone that provides similar services? The last time I spoke to Andrew at Sportingold, he told me he'd stopped doing it.

All I can suggest is a chap called Chris Shaw, he and an associate do paper & book repairs on the Repair Shop and you can find him on Google. His work is fantastic on TV but you never know until you use him yourself what he's actually like to deal with and his prices etc.

If you do manage to use him, please let us know if he's worth contacting.

Thanks a lot for that, I'll send him an email and see if he'd be interested and keep you posted. But might be out of my league if he's on the telly!

Asked him same question he recommended son bird still waiting for a reply from her .

Some woman who restores books and newspapers and the like think programmes is a special subject ......would she be able or interested in restoring programmes I shall have to se.

Have emailed Chris Shaw and will let everyone know if I get a reply.

Anyone else have any other ideas of anyone? There must be someone out there! Or are we doomed to have dirty, ripped programmes forever more...
