I have an intriguing photo and hope someone can help me date & place it correctly.

It shows Bertie Peacock, the (Glasgow) Celtic & Northern Ireland international, in action against what appears to be Belfast Celtic. This is the photo:-

The only thing is, in Peacock's time at Celtic (1949-61) I can only find evidence of one game played between these 2 sides as Belfast just about ceased playing in 1949 and only played a very few friendlies thereafter. The one game I can find was in May 1952, and here's a photo from it lifted from Wikipedia:-

The problems here are twofold. One is that the Belfast captain Jackie Vernon has white shorts in comparison to my photo where they are clearly black, though the shirts seem an exact match. The other issue is that Bertie Peacock didn't play in the 1952 match.

So I'm asking, does anyone have any ideas when & where my photo may have been taken? And is that Belfast Celtic or another shamrock-badged side?

Thanks all.

I'm told this is a friendly match between a Shamrock Rovers selected XI and Celtic, on 15th May 1955. Celtic won 2-0. Game was played at Dalymount Park, Dublin, home of Bohemians FC. Wearing those shirts, maybe they were "Belfast Celtic in disguise".
