I have been given an FA Cup Semi-Final programme recently between Tottenham and Leicester in 1982. On the front cover are two signatures. One I can clearly read as Ossie Ardiles, the other I have been told is of Ricky Villa. I cannot see that, can anybody confirm it for me.

Yep, it's Ossie & Ricky 100%.

I have loads of items signed by both of them and yours are spot on.

Equally, I've never been able to see how Ricky made his name out of that signature, especially on the times when he signed right in front of me, including the one I have shown here!

Looks like Ricky Villa autograph to me when you compare to the one on this site.

I went to White Hart Lane with some friends on the day they signed in 1978. There were probably about 50 or 60 Tottenham fans in the ground and Villa and Ardiles came over and signed whatever scraps of paper they were offered. My mates were happy but not being a Spurs fan myself I just sat on the terrace watching on.
