Thanks Mark, Ian & Peter, all safely received.

Don't forget one of us needs to think of something to say about John for the club newsletter. Please can someone volunteer?

Thanks Allan for your payment.

Still 8 outstanding so please send me your pledges when you can.

Henry Dumigan confirms receipt of the first tranche of £375 which includes all 8 of the above.

Morning Peter,
To confirm that £375 paid into our account this morning.
Thanks again
Henry

I'll pay the second tranche next Monday, currently standing at £48.42. Hopefully one or two more will come along by then.

And does anyone fancy penning a few words for the ATFC newsletter?

Cheers
Pete

Have just sent £10 via paypal Pete.

Was very sorry to hear of John's passing. Met him quite a few times at programme fairs and auctions in the North going back a good number of years. Always had an interesting conversation and he had a strong opinion on a range of subjects! Can remember debating the Scottish independence vote with him and John Litster at the Cresta Court hotel before the Manchester programme fair which went into the wee hours!

He will be missed by many.

Still awaiting 8 pledges. When you can, please, gents.

Yes, got it now, thanks very much.

33 pledges down, 6 to go.

I'm paying ATFC the second instalment tomorrow, and that's £98.42 as it stands.

I paid the first instalment £375 last Tuesday. And I am £60 short on that as 6 haven't yet paid their £10 pledges. Please do so.

I also asked if anyone who knew John better than me would like to pen a few words for the ATFC newsletter. No reply on that one.

Cheers all.

Hi all

I have now paid ATFC the second instalment and made it up to a round £100, which takes our total contribution to £475. That will cover the Subscribers' Board (£50) and give them £425 towards an engraved trophy. I would think there might be some left over so perhaps their Commercial Manager, Colin Chisholm, will have some ideas if there is a surplus.

Now, housekeeping.

I have paid £475. I have received a total of £415 in donations (including my own!). So I am still short of £60 - i.e. 6 x £10 pledges. To those 6 outstanding please pay your £10 to [email protected]
or let me know by DM if you would prefer to do a bank transfer. Thank you.

Finally, would anyone like to see the list I have maintained (an Excel spreadsheet)? If so, say the word and I'll email it to you. I would appreciate if one or two of you did this so that you can see for yourself it's all above board. I do appreciate you have trusted me but would feel easier if one or two of you checked it. Thank you.

Well done everyone and thank you all for your support.

Pete

Hi Pete

I trust you in this matter but I am happy to do an independent audit, if required.

If so please send to [email protected]

Thanks.

Hi Pete

I think your work on this has been brilliant. Hopefully the last 6 will pay their pledges and all can be signed off. If those 6 don't come forward by, say, the first week in December (after payday - if monthly paid) then let us know. I'm sure several - maybe 12 of us? - could put another £5 each in to make up the shortfall? I know it's a tough time but, in this instance, what is £5 to many of us?

Good work again and you have my trust in what you have done.

If you want a seconder, then please send the email.

regards

Paul Briers

Come on the slow coaches....let Pete know one way or the other.

Not fair he should do all the leg work and be out of pocket for it!
