Crystal Palace FC Supporters Club Cards 1936 to 1939

Some of you may be aware that, before WW2, Palace's Supporters' Club issued photo cards of each player on the club's books, starting in season 1936/7 and running until 1939/40 but stopping there.

Some players feature twice or even three times, once for each season they appeared. So far, with my colleague Nutfield Priory's help, we have worked out that we know of 58 different players appearing, with perhaps between 100 and 150 variations. But I have 53 and Nutfield has about 80 so we are both well short of the final quantity.

And we wondered if anybody reading this has any - if so, could you please post a reply and if you have a different name, we'll add him to our records and he might become the 59th player. Or of course he might be a player we already have, but that wouldn't matter - we'd just love to know what else is out there. And maybe we could persuade you to part with it, if it's a version that we needed.

Here are 3 examples from 1936/7, 37/8 and 38/9 so you can see what I'm talking about. You'll see, even in those austere pre-war days, our club changed kits every season!
