Team changes

Hi all

Im seeing a few programmes on Ebay that i need but most have team changes. Im reluctant to pay £3 for a run of the mill 80s issue when it has writing on it.

Agree or am i being picky!?

I always reduce programmes if the team changes are obvious (by that I mean you dont have to find the team page and its on the back cover)

What teams programmes are you looking at ?

I dont mind paying over the odds for a fantastic copy however if there is any writing then Id rather not buy and hold my nerve.

Some Dealers use 1966 as the cut off date for TeamChanges etc, Neat Team Changes in Pre 1966 should not really be an issue. Pre 1996 are usually harder to find and therefore a collector cannot really afford to be so choosey.

Post 1966 should be fairly easy to find so I would always go for Good copies and definitely no writing on the cover.

Of course some collectors are quite happy with Team Changes etc as they believe they add authenticity to the programme.

At the end of the day it all comes down to personal choice.

As you said its personal preference. I just dont like writing and paying over the odds (in my opinion) for programmes that have it on.
