Some of you know that over the last few years I've regularly posted here on FPC some obituaries of sadly deceased footballers.

I started saving printed obits mainly from the Independent in 1996, the first being Tommy Lawton who died in November 96. I've been doing it ever since though the Indy stopped printing papers in March 2016. Since then the I paper prints an occasional obit, sometimes a few weeks late but better late than never.

Anyway, I must have 500 of them now and to be honest they are just sitting here in a drawer. They are now in alphabetical order and run from Jimmy Adamson to George Young. There are also a few "special editions" like George Best, and some with 2 or even 3 different obits from other newspapers.

I'm happy to pass them on to club or player collectors, it's worth asking me if you are interested in anyone who passed in that period. There are a few administrators & referees and also notable foreign players in that era, too (eg Puskas, Socrates).

Can we say £1 per envelope plus postage, please? Basically just to cover my costs.

Hope to hear from some of you but I understand if not your bag.
