It must be prior to 1995 when the Leeds area code changed from 0532 to 0113

I would suggest 1978/79
Definitely before Systime/Lion Cabinets were sponsored as they had their logos on the tickets.
1977/78 home to Man U ticket had GEC on the front.

My understanding of this type of Leeds ticket is that the 4 first numbers of the long number is the printing date of the ticket (usually near the date of the game). You can generally work it out from there.

I'd probably suggest 80/81 if only for the fact that £4 in 77/78 for a seat would be even more expensive than the Bates era!

I have checked the Season Ticket Renewal Forms for 1980/81 and 1981/82 ans Stand D - West Stand is priced at £4.00 for individual games. For 1979/80 the price was £3.

Therefore the Ticket must be 1980/81 or 1981/82. Leeds played Man Utd on 20 Sept 1980 and 3 Apr 1982, both Saturday's and 3pm Kick Off.

If you use Rocky's logic on the date printed the Ticket No starts with 20 so it would be the 1980/81 game.

The date may not be match date but date of issuance. From the picture i can't see the 3rd and 4th digits clearly but they represent the month so if the first 4 digits are 2003 then it means ticket was issued 20 march ie indicating it was for the april match.

the ticket number is 200820003 so looks like it was issued on the 20 / august, looks like 1980/81 which was played in on the 20 sept
