Now here's one where I definitely have to take a back seat.. your views on the biggest team in Everton - that is the district of Everton... Liverpool (nb Everton FC play in Walton) - apparently loved all over the world... the team of Shankly, Paisley, Dalglish and some lesser lights.. Keegan, Rush and ahem Lucas and Voronin.... and some "interesting fans" Smile

Having grown up with all my friends supporting the 'pool and my team facing relegation, I had to question my sanity.
But quite how I did not fall into the trap of being a Liverpool supporter I don't know. They had Clemence, Neal, Thompson, Hughes, Keegan, Heighway and Toshack and we had Mancini.
Umpty nine titles, Wembley their second home and European domination, Liverpool have my respect and when Arsenal are out of Europe then my support goes to them.

Can't stand em.
When I was at senior school in the seventies there were so many glory hunting pool fans there that I grew a masive disslike for anything Liverpool that stays with me until this day.

I hated those people so much that I found I even respected Bristol C**y fans more than them. Still do.

As a Manchester United fan I am a bit indifferent towards them .There is a great deal of animosity between the clubs in some respect in recent years ,but it wasnt always the case.As far as I am concerned the main rivals of United will always be Manchester City, but thats only my view. They certainly havent been a major threat to United for many years, whereas Liverpool have.City and the unlimited money could see them being a major
influence in the Premiership in the future ,but that remains to be seen.
Chelsea,Arsenal ,Liverpool Everton ,Spurs,Man city are all big matches for United, and to be honest in recent years only the London clubs have been the major competition.Things change in football however, and it only seems like yesterday that teams like Forest,Derby,Everton, were the teams to beat.I remember Liverpool being a second division club in the early sixties. There is no doubt however they are a club with a very rich history!
