New category?

Similar to the Finally Obtained thread which hints at finding items already on one's wants list, might there be any mileage in setting up a new category entitled 'I've just picked up an unually rare/possibly unique piece of memorabilia' - rare items not necessarily on a wants list but which have been picked up and are so rare they're worth showing? I just ask because I was lucky enough to pick up one such item today (a ticket involving Oxford University from 1902) but I couldn't decide where to mention/show it.

Keep throwing them in "Rare Programmes and Prices" for now, I'd say. There's certainly lots of us who like a good look at each others oddments!

Put it in the 'Tickets' section Music.

Thanks, guys - both are valid suggestions Such a category would give visitors the chance to see fantastic items without having to sift through many threads if they don't have time and it could include all sorts of memorabilia, vintage and more recent, which are likely not to be seen elsewhere or again... it may help cover some of Leslie's myriad of interesting memorabilia on this forum too!

Perhaps a new, non-programme category showcasing only extreme oddities & rarities could be called "Hens Teeth" ?



It's perhaps a tad more acceptable than "Rocking Horse Shit" I'm thinking.
