Liverpool legend died today aged 83.

350 games for the Reds, 30 years coaching and a couple of caretaker manager spells.

Here he is in the middle of the 1987 title-winning team.

RIP Ronnie.

True footballing man and massive for the famous "Boot Room."

Sky summed him up perfectly earlier with the story about his wedding day.
He went from the church to play for Liverpool and then back to the reception. Classic.

RIP Ronnie......Legend.

Part of the furniture at Anfield for so many decades was Ronnie, a true unsung hero and part of the glue that held together the famous boot room.

Rest in peace mate.

Met Ronnie a few years ago.He was sitting at a table with most of the Liverpool greats from the 1960's team.Being an Evertonian, l took along the Dixie Dean testimonial England v Scotland programme.lt was a chance to get it signed . The two teams who played in the Dean game were put together from Scots and English from Everton and Liverpool. Most of the Liverpool lads who played in the game were in attendance. They all signed the programme. When St John spotted that Ronnie was in the England line-up he burst out laughing.'Hey lads, look at this, l didn't know that Ronnie got capped for England ! 'the Saint quipped. Ronnie Moran took it in good spirits. He really was a genuine , down to earth bloke. The last link with the Boot Room boys from when Shankly arrived at the club in 1959 has now gone.
