I''m sure forum members sell the odd programme on eBay so thought I would pass on my recent experience

Selling a few bits n pieces I noticed a drop In my average ratings (dsr) in a month (postage, comma, dispatch)

Although DSRs are "anonymous" with trial and error producing a report by item number you can finds the culprits

a feedback comment I received "great seller...first class...the best" the  detailed seller ratings were 2 stars for dispatch and I sent programme the same day!!

One buyer gave me 2 stars for comms and post after THEY unsuccessfully tried to haggle a part refund from me after listing ended.

Although on the whole the vast majority are happy there are still some people who just can't be happy receiving a programme they would otherwise have difficulty sourcing.

Buyers fail to understand what dispatch time actually is, they think its the time Royal Mail takes to deliver instead of how soon the seller posts it. I have 2 neutrals in the last month from a seller who purchased on 14th October, I posted 15th October (label on package put on by Post Office so he could see when it was posted) and because he didn't get it until last week he left me neutral and comments of slow dispatch.

Blame however for me lies entirely with ebay themselves for a poor system.

The trouble with eBay is you're dealing with people . And as you know 50% of people are bonkers. An example . I bought a gold coin from a well known coin dealer on eBay , with a Buy it now. The next day , with no explanation the money was back in my account. Refunded . The coin relisted. My only clue was his web page ( not his eBay page) states he won't post to any address other than a home address listed on the credit card. Fair enough , his rules . I wrote to him and said check my feedback , i have all my stuff sent to my works address no problems. No answer again. Forgot all about it until i checked my feedback today . From the same bloke. ""5 star buyer would deal with again"" . Confused
