Does anyone have any history or programmes from this Nottingham based club from after the war up to late 60's? My grandad passed away recently and I am trying to find any information on him as a player after he came back from the war. He managed Sutton Town in the Midland League in the mid to late 60's after he stopped playing but I know very little about his playing days so any help would be greatly appreciated. I found a picture of him (front row behind the cup) and assume this is Boots Athletic although unsure of the cup competition.

The Only club history I can find is from a Arnold Town programme from 1996.
"Difficult to establish when they were founded, although they won the Notts Alliance Senior League in 1898 & 1899.

They seemed to have spent their entire history in the Notts Alliance or Notts Senior League.

They played at Holme Road near Lady Bay Bridge but lost their ground a few years ago when Boots sold the land.
In 2015 they joined with Beeston under the Beeston name a carried on for one season before withdrawing from the Notts Senior League, although Beeston do have junior teams I believe.

I know there ex-manager was Dick Durrant who is with the Notts F.A.
