Whilst searching for Sunderland items i came across this item. Nothing to do with Sunderland , but it looks like more people are jumping on to keyword spamming, thanks to the idiot named in other threads. Anyway i think it'll be of interest to Molineux Phil , collector of all things Derek Dougan.

Great spot that Wull, this is one that i dont have in my collection, i have put my bid in,think it may sell for a few £s though ,my collection re The Doog seams to have hit the proverbial brick wall at the mo,i am searching for several Kettering Aways from the 75/76 & 76/77 seasons at the present but these are proving so hard to obtain, thanks for thinking of me Wull re said prog.Phil.

I'm amazed that it's going for this amount. An English schools match at York ? Seems a bit odd to me.

Im not Wullie , its the "Doog" factor ,i know like me that there are several collectors of all things Dougan out there, but i have set my limit on this one and am sticking to it (who am i kidding), have a fealing that this one is going to go for big bucks.I certainaly have never seen it for sale before.

If there's a programme I really want on eBay I never bid until the last 15 seconds. I'm a big believer that if if you bid too early, even if it's a high amount then that generates interest and other bids. People bid against you, don't get as high as your bid, walk away, think again, then come back and bid again. I you strike with a high bid right at the death it gives the others less opportunity to counter. That's why some auction sites only close the auction 5 minutes (or whatever time) after the last bid as sellers hate to think they missed out on a bidding war.

Yes, well done gang-warily.
Why don't you tell everyone the secret !
Just don't tell em about www.goofbay.co.uk/ebay_tools , where you can "snipe" someone" with 2 seconds left.
Very Happy

And if you do miss out there isn't time to get angry and put a crazy bid in when there's only 5 seconds left Wink
