Seen this programme sold in recent months for anything between £80 and £240 in mint. With the token is a huge bonus, with the team written in detracts a bit. If it is not folded too heavily and no bad creases or anything I would say around £120.

Make what you will out of these 2.

Programmes are worth exactly whatever any one person is prepared to pay for them, so in that respect they don't have any "value" at all. However, rarity and supply and demand all play their part in determining what an individual is prepared to pay for something. What might be a really collectable item to one person, ie a programme needed to complete a particular collection will have absolutely no value to anyone else if they all have it.
Ebay has driven down prices so low that some programmes aren't worth 50% of what they could have fetched a couple of years back. Some people think that's good - I personally think it's great as I'm getting some superb programmes relatively cheaply - whilst others are bemoaning the fact that they can't get for them what they think they're "worth"
5 years back the 66 World Cup Final was edging up towards the £160 - £180 mark. You'd be lucky to get half of that now unless the programme is in pristine condition.
Accrington Stanley have held their value relative to most clubs, but you wouldn't get £80 for the Bradford City one. 61-2 was their last season, but it's the Crewe one that attacts the big money as that was their last home game. However, I've seen a dealer with it on his backboards for at least the last couple of years becuase nobody will pay his asking price.
United vs Wednesday peaked last February when quite a number sold 50 years after the Munich disaster. The one you describe will sell for a premium price, but you'd have probably got £50 more for it then.
It does pay to shop around, if you know what you're looking for.
You're only looking at what the programme has sold for in recent ebay auctions - that's not rocket science and it won't get you an extra penny having even more auction prices to hand, it's hitting the right price at the right time or finding a private buyer.

Hi, the Accrington (last season - 61/2) home programme issued (not the last home played) was against Bradford City but the year is printed wrongly in the middle as 60/1 if I remember! The last away was at Crewe and this one is much harder to obtain, well it was to me.
There is much sound advice in Auchleckian's comments.

Yes you are right with the years most have been changed with a slight pencil mark, Thank to Roy of Sports Programmes. Crewe away I have seen go for £300 mint so far.

Just brought Oldham v West Ham 3rd F.A. Cup 1965/66 today enjoyed looking at the prices of the adds inside.

The above prog was on Cameo Auction list (Midgham, Berks) on Tues 24 Nov "Item 504 - Man.Utd v Sheff.Wed 1957/8 the first match after Munich, team filled in, token intact - estimate £50 - £60". I was at the auction and the hammer price was only £40 - someone picked up a bargain! (Not me). The next item was United's 1957/8 FAC 6th round replay match with West Brom, token intact, est £30 - £40, hammer price was £20!!!!!

Can I just make a point with you, at the time there were two teams in Bradford, the one we are on about likes being called 'CITY', because as I say it P A were the better team then in 1961/62.

I still happen to think Harry is right! There's only one Bradford, 3rd Place and going up, what's City doing heading down the table 2 at The moment

Shows how long you since went to see us play football, yes we did start at Manningham Road BRADFORD from 1988 - 89, then we started ground sharing with local Rugby Clubs Batley and then Bramley before moving to The Horsfall Stadium, we are currently having a new 20,000 all seater stadium beeing built near leeds.

Sorry but I go to watch Avenue about 5 times a season, I also know that true Avenue fans call city the team from Manningham. As for the 20,000 stadium Laughing didnt realise that Thornbury was near Leeds. I suppose its no nearer Leeds than Bradford is as its in Bradford.

My apologies I thought you were talking about Avenue, sorry for the mix up YES we do call them Manningham, Thornbury is quite close to the border, but I keenly want to buy some more shares in Avenue when the new Stadium is complete.

Bradford Park Avenue in my opinion produced some great Programmes, and it was a shame their demise in the 60s.Glad to see the club still exists today.
