Hi all. Anyone recognise the below emblem/initials?

This might not even be football-related, although it did turn up with a few other football badges, and if you read the initials as SCFA or CSFA it does suggest it *might* be a football association, although my research has turned up nothing so far.

No maker's name or mark, plain hinged pin reverse, no other clues, although style of design and pin fixing suggest pre-war.

Any thoughts anyone?

The 'lion rampant' is an heraldic emblem of Scotland, so that could cover the S. The castle bit might add to that? It think it looks Edwardian with the scrolly bits but the way the initials are spread and the content leads me to think it is not football related but I could be wrong. I read it as SFAC though if you were Catholic it could be read SACF (spectacles, testicles, shoulder and watch) !!

SFAC could be 'Skywalking Feline Above Castle'

Looks to be spot on Five and In. Well researched.

Ah! Nice one Five and In Smile - that looks like the one. A subsequent image search has turned up this medal from 1922 where the crest is even more similar (similarer?)

Nice work chaps! Now I've just got to decide which famous Suffolk personality this belonged to back in 1910 and whack it on ebay for a grand Laughing

Thanks again all. I'd been going down the Scottish route previously (as also suggested by Slightfold). And Ruud - I shan't be heading east to come punch you (what is it about Leeds fans and the IW though? I know several in Cowes who were long-time season ticket holders).
