^^^ what this guy says. Just heard my club (rugby, not football) are thinking of going digital. We take 1,000 copies a game (I guess minimum print run), and sometimes only sell 400, with an average crowd around 10,000.

I've written to our CEO asking him to keep something going, even if just a club printed Word based teamsheet, but not hopeful Sad

At Palace the typical ratio for programme sales is about 25% of the attendance, slightly higher sales when we play Man United, Liverpool or Chelsea.

I think that there will be a strong programme buying culture in this country for many years yet though.

If clubs ever decide not to do them, then I reckon the supporters club will do them instead, too good a money spinner not to.

Teamsheet collecting (even if print at home) would rise if there were no official programmes.

And pirates would sell to the desperate too (see obscure games abroad featuring British teams)

In short, no real danger yet in the higher leagues here
