Ballymena v Third Lanark April 1948

Did Ballymena United produce a programme for their match with Third Lanark in April 1948 during Thirds short tour. If so what is an approximate price guide?

only seeing this now. Ballymena definitely issued a programme. It is very scarce. Hard to guess at a price but maybe somewhere around £300. I'd certainly expect to pay that for the friendlies I need v Luton and Huddersfield at that time.

am I correct in thinking they played just the 2 games on this tour, namely v Linfield and Ballymena?

They are the only 2 known programmes. I'm not sure if they played any other games.

Hi Guys,

I think they played a third match, versus Leinster Select in Dublin on the 18th. I have that date from the Sunday Post newspaper fixtures for that day.
