Whenever I go to a game now I find I always buy either an official matchday programme for that game or an old programme from one of the stalls around the ground. It seems strange to go to a game now and not pick up a programme of some sort. Does anyone else find this?

If I go to a game now, no matter what level, I am disappointed with myself if I don't come away with a programme. It is now a major part of my pre match ritual.

When visiting The Lane I will always peruse the programme sellers to try to fill holes in my collection and have a qucik chat. Buy the official matchday programme. Grab a burger outside the ground. To my seat with a cup of coffee that usually is hotter than the sun and has not taste at all. Open the programme in the centre pages and have a good sniff.

I always bought the official match programme and something else from a programme stand from the sixties onwards. It was the start of my collection. For a number of years I wore a donkey jacket with pockets perfect for not folding programmes.

I find a Barbour jacket has pockets that I swear are designed for keeping programmes unfolded

Always have a plastic zip up wallet on me. I know it's OCD but it saves me at least once a season having to replace an otherwise new programme ruined purely because of a heavy downpour. Never get so much as a crease nowadays.

Also getting a bit fussy about keeping my tickets in perfect condition too.
