if it stopped at this price now it is a price that will never yield any profit or be considered in any exchanges-but it is likely to continue to rise-the loonies are running the asylum yet again. Laughing

I hate private auctions as no one knows who is bidding and that is worse than being able to see someone racking up dozens of bids. The seller knows who is bidding so he can keep it going until another one comes in. No transparency from ebay all of these years-I try not to bid on this type of auction.

It will be the game. As mentioned before, over the last couple of years 3 or 4 people have started collecting Chelsea tickets after I assume collecting most of what they wanted in other areas.

This has driven prices to amazing levels even amongst tickets from more recent seasons. However, as the collectors achieve their wants prices have started to return closer to what was once normality but there will still be plenty from the 50s and before that will rocket.
