I have 20/8/69 noted for the fixture against Blackpool but I don't have the programme to check.

Not easy to get definitive information with reserves especially when fixtures and results were not always covered in a club's programmes.

I am pretty much sorted for info for most Blackpool homes but there is a lot missing for aways.

To confirm non issues for reserves is almost impossible I would think.

I don't have the Blackpool Reserves 20/8/69 either but assumed there was one issued as the Arsenal game 13/8 and the Newcastle game 23/8 are tokens 3 & 5 respectively - Imagined the Blackpool reserve game was token 4?

Don't have one and don't recall seeing one though.

One of the big Leeds collectors has indicated in the past that this is a non issue.

This was reported in the Leeds collector magazine that was published around 2002-2004 by Dave Gaertner.

Although speaking with Alex Hewitt he was unaware of it being a non issue. The token theory certainly suggests an issue.

I have a Leeds Utd Res v Sheffield Utd Res (Single Sheet Issue - No Token - Price 1d (old money) no date shown but sof 5-1, the line ups show:

Leeds Utd: Harvey, Yorath, Petersen, Galvin, Kennedy, Faulkner, Liddell, Mann, Belfitt, O'Neill, Hibbit

Sheff Utd: Crawford, Heaton, Harmston, Flynn, MacKenzie, House, Buckley, Staniforth, Addison, Cliff, Holmes

John Faulkner signed for Leeds after the Sutton Utd v Leeds Utd FA Cup game in 1969/70 so assuming programme is for 1970/71?

Any ideas?

Clive I think this is from 70/71 as I have notes saying a single sheet was issued.
The date if 70/71 would be 2nd Sept.
69/70 v Sheffield United is a 4 pager as is 72/73. Leaving only 70/71 and 71/72.
