I have a signed Blackburn programme from 1957-58 season and is in poor condition. the programme has been signed once on the cover and also has a bit from the team line up loose but has been signed. so do I just keep the signed bits and throw the rest away or do I try and sell it as it is.

What is the obsession with all this signed stuff ? Non of it is particularly sought after , unless it's the Busby Babes , Bobby Moore and the like. In other words, passed away legends. Many players from the 60s and 70s do signing sessions with specialist firms nowadays. I think it's a bit sad, but these players, even the greats did not make the money the ""stars"" of today make . So a lot of signatures are not even rare, and most collectors, I think would prefer a nice framed photo with a smart signature rather than at scribble in a tatty programme.
