Just seen the Plymouth v Newport friendly go for £128 on EBay. Can't get £50 fir my copy if the one v Cardiff, looks like County is where the money is at the moment?

Dave-thanks for suggestion but Duncan doesn't have any of these.

Tony-yes, there are a few serious collectors out there and we have to compete with one another!.

The Plymouth one doesn't come around too often, though the friendly from the previous season is a little more common.

Some of the Cardiff friendlies attract high prices often don't they?.

Cheers,

John

Yes John. I bought a large part of John Crooks' collection at Anthemion auctions 2 years ago and regrettably sold some very rare stuff, at a huge profit though. It's th stuff that a few years ago would have been £50+ go for much less now. Same with late 1940s early 1950s general league, the White ones. £20-25+ a few years back, now c£5-10! So I've decided to start buying again . Can't afford to be a Newport fan though .
