I'd be amazed if the club don't make a bid for it. Probably cost the same as a youth team players weekly wage....

Hi guys, I found this today in local Ipswich media from Lockdales Auctioneers :-

http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/n....._1_3771921

Hopefully this link will work, otherwise just google "Ipswich evening star" and click the Arsenal/Aston Villa link.

I look forward to your comments, they are always welcome.

And what could be the mostly costly ticket involving Blackpool was for the 1944 War Cup Final against Aston Villa.

Estimate £25 to £30 and sold for £400. Shocked

Poor condition as well.

all of the Blackburn stuff in the auction was well under estimated and ended up going for 7,8,9,10 times the estimate...

Poor estimates or good marketing?

Confused

Was that the Arsenal programme that was reproduced in one of their home issues from 1963?

I believe it was an unknown/unlisted Pinnace Team Card, showing the 1920-21 side. Very rare!

Details here... http://pinnacecards.wordpress......ng-prices/

Well there are a number of Manchester United collectors out there for sure but even i would be surprised even Shocked if this Pinnace 1920-1 Manchester United team card fetched £850. Billy Meredith sitting in the front behind the football was 47 years young when he posed for this and was given a free transfer and went back to Manchester City shortly after this was taken with whom he played in a Cup Semi in 1924 aged 50!.

It was also reproduced in full size and with the original cover for the 2013-14 game against Stoke.

It'll probably go to the restorers, who could get it into a condition a lot better than what it currently is now.
