Incredibly, Plymouth Parkway only printed 20 copies of their programme for their friendly this evening against Port Vale. They were a complete sell-out an hour before kick-off! One of the 20 programmes is now on ebay.

I smell a rat. And I bet someone connected with the club in some way has ten for sale and they'll all end up on eBay... Thank God I don't collect modern rubbish. Who wants to folk out £50 plus for a programme from a game played a few days ago .... collectors ripped off again. League clubs should stipulate a fair number of programmes to be printed for their fans in the case of these friendlies... ha ha I'm dreaming ...

Yes, it does look as though my email has been hacked into again!! My apologies to all who have received dubious messages. I guess I'll have to open another new email account.
Also, please note that I know the people at Plymouth Parkway quite well and I don't think anyone at the club is looking to pull a fast one.

Well maybe they were expecting a tiny crowd ? Even so , I would expect most football league clubs to have a fair few collectors so their will be a few disappointed ones here. I honestly don't see why the bother of producing just 20 programmes, unless they were just knocked up teamsheets from the clubs photocopier.

Well, they won their league last season with an average crowd of 151

So they would surely have been expecting a decent gate for the visit of a Football League club?
