Incredible stuff, Brazil just fell apart, David Luiz £50m? pfffffft.
First competitive home loss since 1975, record ever defeat, Klose record WC goalscorer. What a match. _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |

Incredible, I am still in shock, one to be talked about forever. The Brazilians were so woeful in their defending, they had Fred Flintstone and the Incredible Hulk in their team so were finding it hard to find 11 to turn out! Once Neymar was out injured they had was no goalscoring forward to mention so were going to struggle.
All credit to the Germans who kept it simple and passed it about as a team, something I feel has been lacking in the tournament generally. |

How wrong that a player like this earns in a DAY the sort of money that would possibly save Salisbury City, what a ridiculous state of affairs

The England team must be thinking how lucky they were........
coming home so soon..........
Just think what that result would have done to the 'Premiership'

When even the mascots were belting out the national anthem in full battle mode I had a feeling that the Brazil team and crowd were perhaps a little too hyped up for their own good.
Add to that you are missing your talisman and your captain whilst the replacement captain is back in his default kamikaze mode.
To cap it all you are relying on Fred and Hulk to spearhead your attack (a poor version of Brian Deane and Lee Chapman) and is it any surprise !!!!
Nevertheless hats off to the Germany team for the ruthless efficiency in completing the job. Absolutely superb.
Now, more than ever, I want Holland to win. |

Nothing more to say really:
Germans were clinical - Brazil were in the changing room all night!
Great result for Germany
Come on Holland! |

Luiz struts on to the park like God, walks of like Crusty the clown, and what is it about players and supporters bawling there eyes out when they lose, it's a game of football shake hands and walk off. |

Apparently, there is a photo doing the rounds of the PSG owner looking in the bin for the receipt for the purchase of David Luiz.

Watched this game on a cruise ship with Brazilians and Germans as well as fans from Argentina, Columbia, USA, Australia, Spain and England.
Best experience ever watching a match on TV. |
