Okay condition, not the best due to it being fragile. I'd appreciate any information on it, or a value as I'm clueless. All I know is that it's worth quite a lot. I saw a Hull vs Chelsea one from 1906 go for £7000 so I presume this will go for a similar price, or more.

No need for the smart arse comment really was there? The post was approved so not much of a problem writing it was there. I was simply curious, so place your ego somewhere where it's wanted. Thank you.

think this is a reserve issue as neither Liverpool nor Everton played a first team game on that day, I think it was a thursday.

Who were the opponents?

What match(es) does this cover as Everton were away at Palace in the FAC on 9th March 1907 and Liverpool were away at Sheffield Wednesday also in the cup?

Unfortunately Liverpool / Everton programmes from that era just aren't very rare. Liverpool v Man City 1906-07 went for 165 on ebay recently. In great condition. Yours seems to be a reserve match so less attractive. And poor condition will knock at least 50% off. Still who knows... maybe it a never before seen issue v Man United. Probably only worth 50 odd quid though.

Thanks for the positive comments from some of you, shows not all people on this sort have a large ego. Yes I'm new to this but I just wanted some information on the product. I believe it is the Liverpool vs Wednesday edition as the original owners were Sheffield Wednesday fans... Wednesday won the game 1-0 I've found as I've done a bit of research...

Are you sure it is the game v Sheffield Wednesday. It was played on the 9th March 1907 but the game was played in Sheffield. According to the Breedon book, the only league match played at Liverpool was game v Newcastle United on 23rd March 1907. So maybe it is a reserve fixture.
Everton and Liverpool I believe produced a joint programme so could it be possible that the programme refers to an Everton game for the 9th March 1907? Everton played Bolton 2nd March 1907 and Stoke 16th March 1907. Everton played Crystal Palace in the cup 9th March 1907.

It is an Everton Reserve fixture in the Lancashire League.

Both first teams away, and Liverpool Res also away.

Everton Reserves v Manchester United Reserves

Ray or Leslie will be able to give you the best valuation.

I am a bit confused here surely the original poster could open the programme and read inside what match it is if he has it in his possession
Or am I missing something?

Large ego ? Your the one who come on here with a £7,000 valuation. Ive had one of these programmes before. No team line ups but reviews the away match where Liverpool are playing. Make it £20 now. Judge

Excellent point! How come the original poster has no clue who the teams are?
Perhaps it is not his and is looking to get confirmation what it is worth several thousand before he buys it?

Remember the guy who offered the Wrexham homes in 1944-5 with some bullshit story before they appeared in an auction.! He never got them and they went for a lot collectively with the one v United getting the highest price and the rest ended up on sportingold months later. Well it appears footy progs has located it on my flickr page.
Anyway as a collector I do not give valuations I am afraid as everyone has their own view but considering the poor condition bazza is a bit under but maybe £6950 quid too much and that is only if it is all complete! Just an opinion

For your information the Hull v Chelsea 1905/06 programme went for £2500 and the Hull v Chelsea 1906/07 went for £1500. I believe that it was originally offered at £7000 and needed 3 attempts to find its level at auction.

Those programmes bear no relation to the value of an Everton/Liverpool pre 1st World War programme in bad condition particularly if it is a Reserve.

Looking at the initial heading of this thread where 'auction' is mentioned, I suspect that Bdawson is acting on behalf of the owner of the programme and trying to establish a figure for a reserve price before placing it with an auction house.
