Sunderland Arsenal. Fair condition. Sold for a whopping £2,900.

Was interested in it myself but not at anywhere close to that price. Obviously at least two people very keen to get their hands on it!

Shows rare items still go for a good price but shocked at how high that went for. Wouldn't have expected over £1k.

It wasn't me that got it. Crying or Very sad I think it was a Wednesday afternoon game in front of a small crowd. Hence probably a low print run making it even rarer than league games from this season.

Just shows you what prices can be realised when there are 2 bidders desparately after a programme and money is no object.

Not really a true reflection of value and not to be used as a yardstick in the future.

What would it have gone for if there had been only one person prepared to go that far?

You are spot on. Probably not a great example with this programme,as it is so very rare, but you do see lesser programmes, sometimes go high because of a bidding war, then all of a sudden Bins appear on eBay with that price, and the seller will not budge. Because a scarce programme once sold for £100 , doesn't mean this is the bottom line from now on.
